Public may get shot at UC tickets today
Attention all Hannah-maniacs: Tickets for the Jan. 14 return engagement of Miley Cyrus' "Best of Both Worlds" tour go on sale at 10 a.m. today.
If there are any left.
Fan club members got first crack at the tickets Friday, a full day before they went on sale to the general public.
It's not known how many tickets were made available for presale, how many tickets were sold in advance and how many (if any) are left for Ticketmaster to sell today.
Calls and e-mails for answers were sent to representatives for Cyrus and her tour's promoters, Buena Vista Concerts and AEG. But they were not returned.
Cyrus, the star of the Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana" show, performed a sold-out show last weekend at the Allstate Arena. Many of the tickets were snapped up by brokers and offered for sale at prices well over face value.
The tickets for next month's show at the United Center will be sold through Ticketmaster outlets (ticketmaster.com, 312-559-1212) and online at aeglive.com.
